Camden contains some of London's smartest addresses overlooking Regents Park, but also includes King's Cross, an unofficial red light district with a wealth of budget accommodation although it is currently undergoing massive regeneration. Camden Town is home to many small live gig venues and the famous weekend market, prime shopping for great value street gear, 2nd hand clothes, music, gifts, food and generally crazy London stuff with great people watching and some very funky bars and cafes to boot. Camden is on the Northern tube line and a quick trot to the very grand Regents Park and London Zoo
