Ealing is a good value, pretty and leafy place to live in West London, and home of the infamous 'Redback Tavern' in Acton. It houses a rich cultural mix of communities including Asian, Polish, Irish and lots of workers from the BBC and Heathrow. Southall has some excellent Indian shops and curry houses and the Uxbridge Road which leads to Shepherds bush has an ever increasing range of good pubs and eating spots. Transport links include the District, Piccadilly and speedy Central line and overland trains also.
